About the Author

Luke Ahern was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and now lives in Central California. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in game development and has worked in senior positions, including as a designer, producer and art director in seven games published, and also worked as a background artist at EA. He has written ten books on game design, including 3D Texture Focal Press, the third edition. He freely uses 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Mudbox and other game editors.
